Description
Rain is the subject of so many popular songs, like "Singing' in the Rain" sung by Gene Kelly, "Rain King" by Counting Crows, "Rainin' You" by Brad Paisley, "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor, "Shadows in the Rain" by Sting, or "Kentucky Rain" by Elvis.
The "rain" song that has moved my heart though, is a Christian song that mixes the lyrics and music of "Amazing Grace" with the artistry and lyrics of Todd Agnew - "Grace Like Rain". That song was the inspiration for this poster. I wanted not a simple rain to portray God's grace, but a gushing downpour.
The verse I chose to pair the image with is John 1:16 "From the fullness of grace we have all received one blessing after another."
